About the Seal Safari

Join a delightful boat trip aboard the charming wooden fishing boat M/S Nanny af Torekov to the seal area around the southwestern part of Hallands Väderö. Along the way, you can admire stunning views and hopefully spot seals resting or balancing on the rocks. Sometimes they suddenly surface and curiously watch you. You may also encounter porpoises and see plenty of seabirds. The seal population at Hallands Väderö is estimated to consist of 1400–1600 individuals, mostly harbor seals. Around midsummer, there’s a good chance of seeing the newborn pups resting on the cliffs or playing around the boat. All departures are from Torekov and this is a tour enjoyed by the whole family.
